Route: Bangalore - Mysore - Nanjangud - Guldalpet - Theppakadu - Left to Masinagudi

Eat:
Must try thatte idly in bidadi.

Food in masinagudi not so great.

Distance: 250Km one way.

Road Condition: Good all the way till theppakadu.

Theppakadu - Gudalur route is bad with big potholes. Careful if its raining. Potholes can swallow small cars ;)

Theppakadu - Masinagudi road is narrow and cuts out sharp. Give way to oncoming traffic carefully if your car has low clearance.

Important Note:

Forest guards check each and every bag in the vehicle at Tamil nadu border. Avoid carrying liquor if you dont want to spend more time at border and wasting money.

Forest check post closes at 9 PM and opens again at 6 AM. Plan accordingly.
