We inquired about someshvara temple to the priest at lakshminarashima temple. The same priest does the pooja at someshvara temple. He said he will come with us and open the gates but he got a call. The priest then gave the keys to an elderly person near the temple and sent him with us. This temple was in ruins. I was not shocked as i had seen few pics on net before going. The lawn was not watered for many days. Small plants have grown on the temple vimana. Bushes around the temple. Though the temple was not maintained well pooja happens everyday. Though the exteriors are not taken care the pooja happens everyday. There were fresh flowers and decoration on the Shiva Linga. We were allowed to click pictures inside the temple as well..
