We left Sringeri around 8 AM on 26th and went to Udupi. We reached around 10:30 AM and went to the temple. The entrance and darshan queue was bit confusing. Already a big queue was formed and the darshan delayed because of some VIP visit. After having faster darshan previous day this one took us 2 hours. The issue was people dont follow queue and trying to cut in. There was heated argument for few minutes. This was the second time we faced issue because of VIP visits. First time in Tirupathi we stood for 4 hrs and still couldnt have darshan of Lord Balaji. The VIP should be allowed early or late in day so it doesnt affect general public. When the VIP visit was over the line started moving fast and we had a good darhsan of lord Krishna. The specialty of the temple is the main deity faces the window on the west side. When we came out there was a much bigger queue standing outside for anadhana in the temple. We decided to go out and have lunch. Another thing we noticed in these 2 days was that there was absolutely no rush in ATM's and no cash crunch anywhere. We got change for Rs 2000 also in all hotels.
