Date: 30th March 2017 - 5th April 2017
Travelers: Arun, Shilpi, Harsh, Muthusamy, Vijayalakshmi and Sneha
Tour operator: Paradise Kerala
Places Covered: Guruvayur, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey and Kochin
We had booked the package tour from Paradise holiday. Our trip started on 30th March around mid night. Plan was to reach Ernakulam from Coimbatore and from there the operator will take care. I had booked the kochuveli express which was supposed to arrive in Coimbatore at 11:50 PM. We reached the station around 9:30 PM. I hate running in at last minute. I expected the train to get delayed and as expected the train was running late almost an hour. Finally when the train was about to reach the rare thing that happens in station happened to us. It was the second time for me, they changed the platform. Even though we reached 2 hours before the arrival we had to run from first platform to fourth platform, you cant beat fate. The train also halted for a bit long and we settled down on our seats. TTE also came in soon and we got our tickets checked and tried to catch some sleep. Our planned destination was ernakulam but we were asked to get down a stop before in aluva. We got down in aluva and waited for the cab to arrive. The White innova was bit old but comfortable throughout the trip. The driver Gopi was a kind and religious man, he went to all the temples where were we went and spent more time than us :). We went to the Paradise office and paid up the balance amount and freshened up in their office. Call it fortunate or unfortunate there was a cab strike on the day we arrive in Kerala. That was the reason there was no one in the station coming and asking where do you want to go. We have got down in many stations and always there will be auto and cab drivers almost garbing our luggage's. The driver told us lets leave to guruvayur soon as it was a strike day.
Few pics from the travel.
Yes we are.
Waiting in Coimbatore station. He did not become tired and was running around entertaining himself.
