Places Visited: Sirsi KA, Yana KA, Polem GA, Amboli MH, Mahabaleshwar MH, Malvan MH, Morjim GA.
After successful Odisha drive we decided to visit Goa and Maharashtra for year end trip. Original plan was to start on 24th and reach Goa but Harsh school function got cancelled for 23rd Dec. We got an extra day so we added Sirsi to the list of places to visit. Unlike Odisha trip this time we restricted our drive to 250km max in a day except first and last. The drive in this trip was through some of the beautiful national highways, state highway and ghat roads. The stay in most places was good except the Kamaxi beach resort in polem. The location of the resort was awesome right on the beach but the room was not great. Amboli and Mahabaleshwar we stayed in MTDC hotels and it was decent enough. The stay in Konark residency malvan was the best. Little did we know about morjim before we went. It is called little Russia and we could see all the guests who signed in the hotel register before us were Russians. The beach too was full of foreigners except for very few Indians. The water sports in Tarkarli beach and Anjuna beach were good fun.
