Asar Mahal or Relic Palace was built in 1646 by Muhammad Adil Shah. Originally built as hall of Justice now houses two hair from the beard of Prophet Muhammad. The hair was brought by Mir Muhammad Salli Hamadani. The rectangular palace was a two storey building with a artificial lake in front of it. Women are not allowed to enter the palace. An important place unfortunately not well maintained. The access road to the Palace and the front structure all looked spooky. There was no one around and we did not spend much time here and left the place soon.
Few pics from the place.
We were here.
The last place we visited in Bijapur and that brings us to end of the trip. One place that we planned but did not see was Saat Kabar.
